She was born in Granada, Spain. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Eina School in Barcelona followed by a Postgraduate course in Creative Illustration and Techniques in Visual Communication. For 12 years she has lived and worked in Mexico, working on advertising campaigns for GAFA and Casa Palacio. Her illustrations have been featured in magazines such as National Geographic Traveler, Esquire and Hoja Santa, and collaborated on illustraitons with the I Ibero-American Illustration Catalog. She made her first book "Friends and Favorite Objects" with Ediciones Acapulco. She created exhibitions featured in the Women´s Time Festival, Vertigo Gallery, the Lighthouse of Aragon, and the MUNAE with Tiger Ediciones or "Vivan las Mujeres" with Amnesty International. She has participated in cinematographic projects, such as "Buy me a Gun", "Bayonet", "Miss Bala", "The Romantic Hairdresser", "Norteado", "Carmin Tropical", "Chavez" or "Zeus". She has designed posters for several feature films. Currently, Nuria continues to develop her projects as an illustrator and painter in Mexico City.
